Dr. Paje’s work is focused on promoting evidence-based practices for patient care in hospitals to improve patient safety. He is involved in research on the appropriate use of vascular access devices and anticoagulation medications, with the goal of improving care by reducing healthcare-acquired conditions and other risks. He is also involved in evaluations of inpatient models of care with the goal of improving patient-centered outcomes and clinical efficiency, as well as research on understanding and improving physician well-being.
