Dr. Skolarus is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Michigan. She is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, vascular neurologist whose research focuses on behavioral trials to promote health equity, community based participatory research and health services research. She holds a Master’s degree in Health and Health Care Research. She is currently leading a community wide implementation science and community based participatory research project to increase acute stroke treatment rates. She also is leading a mobile health stroke prevention project and a project using big data to explore drivers of post-stroke disability and end-of-life preferences. Dr. Skolarus has published over 80 manuscripts.
