Sharmistha Dev is a Research Scientist at the Regenstrief Institute, Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Indiana University’s School of Medicine, and an Affiliate Investigator at the VA HRS&D Center for Health Information and Communication. Her research is on understanding the relationship between emergency department utilization and overall hospital utilization. She has a special interest in examining the role of emergency care within the Veterans Health Administration.
