Stuart Hammond graduated with Master’s degrees in Public Health and Public Policy at the University of Michigan. As a Research Assistant for the Acute Care Research Unit, he contributed to research in multiple ongoing projects related to pre-hospital and acute-care delivery. Stuart is committed to bridging the gaps between medicine and public health and is studying the evolving role that providers play in addressing social determinants of health. Driven by a commitment to patient-centered models of care, he seeks to incorporate multidisciplinary perspectives into healthcare research and delivery. Specifically, he is interested in developing models of care for medically and socially complex individuals, population health policy, political advocacy, and community development.
